Boot Camp is a free utility built into Mac OS X. It allows you to use Microsoft Windows applications, such as SDL Trados Studio on your Apple iMac, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. To use SDL Trados Studio you must set your Mac to run Boot Camp, ensuring that you boot in to Windows, and then reboot. SDL Trados Studio is an application built for the Microsoft Windows environment. SDL Studio cannot be installed directly to the Apple Mac operating system OSX. To work with SDL Studio on an Apple Mac, it is recommended that you use Boot Camp to install the application. Alternatively, virtual machine software can be used, such as Parallels. The Intel 64-bit build is compiled on OS X 10.9.5 with Xcode 6.2 and SDL 2.0.12. If this does not work for you, compile your own. NOTE: The 64-bit Intel builds only support 10.9 and above. Why did I write another emulator? Several reasons.First, and foremost, there was no TRS-80 emulator available for Mac OS X. Since I am theauthorof Atari800MacX, which is based on libSDL, it made it easy for me tomakea TRS80 xtrs port based on SDL, so it would run on Windows and Linux aswell as Mac OS X.Second, sdltrs provides a text menu based GUI, which is more userfriendly interface than the interfacextrs provides. Finally, sdltrs provides some other enhancementsto xtrs, such as the ability to copy and paste from the host to/fromthe emulator, the ability to save and load the emulator state, diskindicator LED's, fullscreen display, and onthe Mac, to emulate an Epson printer as well.

Update: My apologies to all of the people who contributedto Tim Mann's xtrs (upon which this emulator is based), and who's contributionswere indavertantly left out of the credits. That has been remedied in the onlinemanual for credits, and the downloadable packages will be updated at the next releaseto remedy them as well.
